His eyes fluttered closed as she ran her fingers through his fringe and smoothed it down. He froze, but after a moment, lowered his head forward to let her do as she pleased. ![]() She reached a hand out of her blanket to fix it for him. He ran a lazy hand through his hair, which helped but didn’t quite get rid of his bedhead. “You’re one to talk," she muttered, glancing pointedly up at his rat’s nest. His smile grew slightly and he gestured to her hair. He glanced at her and cracked a sleepy smile, similar to her own. “Good mornin’," she said quietly, still wrapped up in her blanket. ![]() His hair was flat on one side and sticking up wildly in the other, but she knew he wouldn’t care even if she told him. ![]()
